Many individuals experiencing homelessness are often overlooked by traditional systems of care. Seeking Him Outreach focuses on reaching those who are unsheltered and underserved, delivering meals directly and consistently where they are.

Who we are

Seeking Him Outreach is a nonprofit organization based in Orange, California, focused on building trust through consistent, relationship-centered outreach to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity — and to the pets who remain their closest companions.

Founded by Tyson Whitaker, Seeking Him Outreach was created from lived experience and a deep understanding of what it means to be unseen, unheard, and disconnected from systems of care. Our work is grounded in dignity, presence, and reliability. We show up consistently, listen first, and meet immediate needs while fostering human connection and trust.

Serving our community

Food Assistance for People Experiencing Homelessness

Seeking Him Outreach prepares and distributes fresh, nutritious meals with the help of volunteers and donated food. Our team delivers meals directly to individuals and families throughout Orange County, meeting people where they are and ensuring food is provided with respect, consistency, and care.

Pet Food Support for Companion Animals

For many people experiencing homelessness, pets are family. We provide food and basic support for companion animals, recognizing the role pets play in emotional well-being, stability, and trust. Supporting pets helps keep people engaged and connected.

Community Outreach

Our outreach goes beyond food distribution. By returning to the same locations and building relationships over time, we create safe points of contact rooted in trust. Through presence and conversation, we help reduce isolation and strengthen community connection.
